In 2004 I decided to take some time off from my career in high tech business development. I became a branding and strategy consultant for corporate and non-profit clients, which then led to designing stationery for events. (Man, have I learned a lot since then!)

What happened next is what Oprah would have called my "Aha!" moment. When I was a young girl, I loved paper, crayons, painting, etc. (I used to drive my family crazy!). So coming back to this over twenty years later - it really shouldn't be surprising! Especially when coupled with my previous work experience in the printing industry.

Paperzest was officially launched in the Fall of 2005, and has since won awards and received a lot of national recognition. We've been honored to be voted a top wedding vendor by Washingtonian Bride & Groom every year since 2009. In 2015, Washingtonian Bride & Groom voted us as a top wedding vendor - and we were recognized at the "Top Vote Getter" in our category!
