In 2004 I decided to take some time off from my career in high tech business development. I began working consulting on branding and presentations for corporate and non-profit clients, and then started to create invitations for events. (Man, have I learned a lot since then!)

What happened next is what Oprah would have called my "Aha!" moment. You see, ever since I was a young girl, I have always loved paper, crayons, pens, and eventually fonts and design software. So twenty something years later this really makes sense to me! Especially when coupled with my previous work experience in the printing industry.

Paperzest was officially launched on the Fall of 2005, and has since won awards and received a lot of national recognition. We've been honored to be voted a top wedding vendor by Washingtonian Bride & Groom every year since 2009. In 2014, Washingtonian Bride & Groom voted us as a top wedding vendor with the special "One to Watch" title!
