In 2004 I decided to take some time off from my career of over ten years in high tech business development. Recently engaged, I was struggling to find the appropriate invitation for our wedding in the Virgin Islands. I looked through many books, and countless websites, yet I couldn't find the stationery that really reflected us, or the tone we wanted to set for our wedding. So, I decided to design the save the dates and invitations myself! {Man, have I learned a lot since then!}
What happened next is what Oprah would have called my "Aha!" moment. You see, ever since I was a young girl, I have always loved paper, crayons, pens, and eventually fonts and design software. So twenty something years later this really makes sense to me! Especially when coupled with my previous work experience in the printing industry.
Paperzest was officially launched on the Fall of 2005, and it's been a fun ride ever since!
